Fantasy Under the Sea

I started drawing this for a contest called 1000 Leagues Under the Sea and because I drew each individual creature carefully, I hadn't even finished the first one when I missed the deadline. In fact the group that held the contest is gone too.
Anyway, I then used this piece as something to do in between projects or like a warm up to get into the "art mood" and I worked on each fish one at a time. I finally finished it earlier this month making it a FULL year since I began!

This is a fantasy seascape, so before I get comments telling me my sea horses have real heads and the octopus has unreal eyes, I know, I did it purposely as a fantasy piece.
All in all it is a little busy and kind of keeps the eye rambling without an actual focal point, but that's not surprising considering I never had a plan to begin with.
